What is an EggFest:
For those of you who don't know what an EggFest is, we will start from the beginning. EggFests bring together people who LOVE the Big Green Egg. What's the Big Green Egg you ask? It's the world's best all-in-one smoker and grill, and it makes DELICIOUS food! So delicious, that Big Green Eggs now have a strong following of chefs and admirers (accurately termed "EggHeads") who specialize in cooking great-tasting food using only these grills, which is exactly what EggFests are about. These EggHeads travel from all over the country to cook and compete for best tasting dish at each EggFest, and now they're coming back to Indianapolis!
Why should I come to Indy EggFest?
The Indy EggFest is back for its fourth year, and will be better than ever! Whether you are an EggHead, want to be an EggHead or simply love food, the Indy EggFest will provide you with lots of fun, entertainment and a FULL belly!
The event will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 from 10 AM - 4 PM. While you're there, you can enjoy a live band, grilling classes and a laugh with comedian MC Dave "The King" Wilson. You can also test your cooking skills with open Eggs to grill on and food provided. There will be a live broadcast of "Home and Garden with Dick & Pat" on 93.1 WIBC. But most importantly, you can sample a LOT of delicious food from cooks who have traveled from all over the country.
